Warranty Cloth Nappies

At Junior Tribe Co we stand by our products and as the manufacturers we pride ourselves on supplying quality cloth nappies and accessories to our valued customers.

We offer a 12 month warranty on all our products. If there is a manufacturers defect it will present itself pretty early on usually even after the first wash and/or within 1 month of use. We encourage you to wash your cloth nappies by our wash routine so you don't void your warranty with us. 

If you have purchased a product with a major fault, you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement or refund. If you purchased a product with a minor fault, we may choose to give you a free repair instead of a replacement or refund. Further information is available at https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-rights-guarantees/repair-replace-refund. 'Seconds' quality or secondhand cloth nappies are not covered under warranty. We are happy to help you with fixing an item- although will be at your expense. 

Here are things that ARE covered by our warranty:

  • Stitching defect that affects functionality (not a cosmetic issue)
  • Snap defect- snap will not stay closed and 'pops' open under strain
  • Elastics that become 'slack' within 1 month of use
  • Zipper defect on wet bags- zip will not open or close without force used
  • Inserts- stitching defect causing the bamboo fabric to come unattached by the over-locked edging. 

Here are things that ARE NOT covered by our warranty:

 Damage to a product such as ripping, tearing or snagging of the fabric, opening the snaps too forcefully resulting in tearing on the materials, cracking a snap or other damage sustained from improper use will not be covered under warranty.

Prints may appear slightly different to the pictures advertised. The direction of print placement may vary from product to product depending on the shape, width and size of how the fabric arrives and is cut thereafter- This is not a manufacturing fault and adds to the unique personality of each individual product.

  • Fading 
  • Leaking
  • Repelling
  • Odour
  • Pilling
  • Broken snaps
  • Holes in Inserts
  • Poor fit on your baby
  • Staining
  • Turning grey
  • Misuse by owner
  • Hungry machines- this includes washing machine and drier
  • Bleach soaks/any bleaching/bleach burns
  • Vinegar soak
  • Medium/High Drying (please dry on low only or hang dry- preferably in shade for nappy shells/ wet bags/ swim nappies)

Inserts/insert sets that have developed holes due to non compliance (refer to our wash routine)

Please remember that your nappy is a product that is washed and dried repeatedly. Having a sizeable stash is recommended as each nappy will last that bit longer.  If you wash a few nappies every day, chances are they will wear out faster.  We recommend a good size stash of 25+ nappies so the same nappies arent worn and laundered everyday repeatedly. 

If your nappy falls into the category of warranty replacement please contact us with your warranty request and we will work with you to replace your nappy.

** Due to prints selling out faster than others and working around production times, another print that is in stock can be chosen as your warranty replacement if your print is not in stock.

** IMPORTANT INFO- Warranty replacements are only for original owner of nappy or second owner who has purchased nappy brand new unused. Please provide receipt or name of original owner.

Ensure your return parcel is shipped in appropriate secure packaging and both sender’s and Junior Tribe Co addresses are clearly displayed on the outside of the parcel. We encourage sending via tracked or registered post for piece of mind. To speed up handling time you may include:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Your name, address and phone number
  • Details of item(s) being returned
  • Reason for return of item(s)
  • Your bank details or Paypal address if requesting refund.
